He was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize in 2000 for their work on behalf of peace to the conflict in the Great Lakes in Africa. He chairs the S'Olivar Foundation. He has published Cristianisme i Justícia "African Great Lakes" (Notebook 95, October 2000).
